Our outreach efforts are ongoing and we try to be flexible in what we do but there are a few things that we do pretty regularly.

Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach - We are one of the groups that prepare and serve meals on a regular schedule at MTKO.  Every other month we serve over 100 meals to people in Lincoln who need something to eat.

Kicks for Kids - Beginning in the fall of 2011 we started providing shoes for elementary school children.  The first year we thought one school (Belmont Elementary) and 50 pairs of shoes would be as much as we could cover and we soon had three schools and over 100 pairs covered.  This past year we provided over 450 pairs of shoes to 8 elementary schools.

Meals on Wheels - We work with Tabitha to provide meals to those who need them delivered.  A team goes out every Sunday to deliver a couple of routes in NW Lincoln.

Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR) - We are huge fans of Lutheran Disaster Response.  The reason is pretty simple.  Through our regular offerings, LDR's operating expenses are paid for so when we support LDR's response to a disaster, 100% of the dollars donated go to the people who need it.

We've also been know to show up a local disasters, like the twin tornadoes that hit Pilger, NE in June 2014.

Quilts - On any given week our two groups of quilters can be found at church making mission quilts to support Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilts.  The numbers vary from year to year but on any give year there are around 100 quilts donated.

Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry - Housed at St Andrews Lutheran Church, the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry works with the Lincoln Food Bank and area churches to provide food for those who need it.  Spirit of Hope has a monthly focus based on what the pantry tells us their needs are and delivers these donations about every two weeks.

Scouting - We sponsor a couple of scout groups and provide space for several to meet.
